Heroic Journeys Institute

The Heroic Journeys Institute is a Continuing Education and Certificate Training program based on humanistic psychology and the work of pioneers in the field: Carl Rogers, Abraham Maslow, and Virginia Satir. Featuring the masterful facilitation of Robert McGarey M.A., Executive Director of The Human Potential Center, this program is rooted in the belief that veryone is on a unique, heroic journey in their life, and that they possess an essentially-unlimited potential for growth.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

Classes are offered in person and online, and
include the following upcoming classes:

  • "Building Sound Self-Esteem" (12 hours)
  • "Getting Unstuck" (6 hours)
  • The Dream Shop (2 hours)
  • How to Design and Lead Extraordinary Workshops (4.5 hours)

You can receive a Certificate upon completion of course work in three areas:

  • Business for a Better World
  • Personal Growth Facilitation
  • Group Facilitation

Each of the three tracks has the same core curriculum before continuing with more tailored subject matter. Each track contains modules that are rich in engagement via one-on-one sessions, group workshops, and occasional conferences.
There will be benchmarks between modules in order to continue forward with the curriculum.
